Rather than overpowering the distillery's signature style, the carefully selected sherry casks enhance Caol Ila's elegant coastal smoke with layers of dried fruits, roasted nuts and dark chocolate. Bright citrus, maritime salinity and clean peat remain at the heart of the whisky, creating a beautifully balanced Islay dram where smoke and sherry work in perfect harmony.
 
The nose opens with aromas of lemon peel, sea spray, toasted nuts and gentle peat smoke, while the palate reveals rich flavours of raisins, roasted almonds, dark chocolate and citrus oil, all wrapped in Caol Ila's distinctive maritime character.
