Tradition Meets Innovation in Every Glass
From the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, Fertuna Pactio 2021 is a tribute to timeless tradition and modern craftsmanship. Named after the Roman god Janus, the wine symbolises a pact between heritage and future, reflected in its beautifully expressive character. A blend of 60% Sangiovese, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 20% Merlot, Pactio exudes complexity and elegance. On the nose, expect ripe and intense aromas of red cherry and wild berries, softened by refined hints of vanilla from short oak ageing. The palate is generous and balanced, with smooth tannins and notes of ripe cherry, plum, and spice. A short maturation in French oak lends subtle depth, while the stony Galestro soils of Gavorrano impart a unique mineral undertone.
Whether enjoyed now or cellared for a few more years, Pactio is a versatile red that brings the soul of Tuscany to your table.
