The "Fusion" lies in its unique composition. The majority of the malted barley is grown in the foothills of the Himalayas, while a carefully selected portion is traditionally peated Scottish barley. These spirits are distilled separately before maturing in a combination of new American oak and ex-bourbon casks at Amrut's distillery in Bangalore, over 3,000 feet above sea level. The tropical climate accelerates maturation, creating a whisky with extraordinary concentration and character.
 
Rich aromas of ripe tropical fruits, vanilla, honey and gentle peat smoke lead into a beautifully layered palate of mango, dark toffee, malted barley, baking spices, cocoa and toasted oak. The lightly peated Scottish malt adds elegant smoky complexity without overwhelming the vibrant fruit-driven style. The finish is long, warming and beautifully balanced, leaving lingering notes of oak spice, dark chocolate, dried fruit and soft smoke.
