Arlett Mizunara Cask Finish combines French single malt whisky with the distinctive influence of Japanese oak. Made from French barley and double-distilled in Charentais copper pot stills, it reflects Distillerie Tessendier & Fils’ approach to whisky making.
 
The supplier describes three years in American oak bourbon casks followed by one year in Japanese Mizunara oak. Pepper, cardamom, herbs, toffee and cacao lead into orchard fruit, vanilla and peach, with oak spice adding depth to a long, lightly floral finish.

Palate: Orchard fruit, vanilla and peach, with spicy oak depth.
