Distilled at Blair Athol Distillery on 1st January 2014, this single malt matured exclusively in a selection of second-fill Oloroso sherry butts before being bottled by Signatory Vintage as the 64th release in its popular 100 Proof Collection. Presented with natural colour and without chill filtration, it retains the whisky's full texture and authentic character.
 
The refill Oloroso casks complement rather than dominate Blair Athol's naturally rich spirit, allowing layers of dried fruits, dark chocolate, roasted nuts and warming spices to develop alongside the distillery's signature malty depth. Rich aromas of raisins, cocoa, toasted almonds and baked fruit lead into a full-bodied palate packed with dark berries, rich malt, treacle and gentle oak spice. The finish is long, warming and satisfyingly dry, with lingering notes of sherry sweetness, cocoa and polished oak.
