The C315 South-West 2023 is a truly distinctive Lalande de Pomerol, crafted in small quantities from Château Tournefeuille’s prized central plots the estate’s most beautiful gravelly terroirs. The name C315 refers to the cadastral designation of these exceptional vineyards that encircle the château itself.
 
Made from 90% Merlot and 10% Malbec, the vines are under 20 years old, cultivated using sustainable methods with no chemical or insecticide treatments, manual leaf stripping, and hand harvesting to ensure pristine fruit quality.
 
Fermented by parcel in amphorae and aged for nine months with no added sulfites, C315 reflects a pure, authentic expression of the Lalande de Pomerol appellation.
 
In the glass, it reveals deep garnet hues and aromas of ripe plum, black cherry, and a touch of spice. The palate is velvety yet vibrant, with supple tannins and a mineral freshness derived from its gravelly soils. Amphora aging enhances texture and clarity, lending an unfiltered honesty to the wine.
 
A contemporary Pomerol minimal intervention, maximum character. Bottled at the château, limited to just 6,000 bottles worldwide.
