Dominique Piron Beaujolais Villages 2023 is a vibrant and expressive red wine crafted from Gamay grapes grown on the granite and schist slopes of Beaujolais, France. Dominique Piron’s family has cultivated vineyards in the region for over four centuries, with winemaking roots tracing back to 1590 in the village of Morgon.
Today, Dominique Piron continues this long-standing tradition by producing wines that reflect the character of their terroir. The fragmented granite soils and hillside vineyards contribute to wines that are fresh, structured, and full of lively fruit expression.
Produced using semi-carbonic maceration in stainless steel and cement vats, this Beaujolais Villages captures the bright, juicy character that Gamay is celebrated for. The technique enhances the wine’s aromatic freshness while preserving the purity of the fruit.
The result is a beautifully balanced Beaujolais with vibrant red fruit flavours, subtle floral notes, and a refreshing structure that makes it incredibly enjoyable both on its own and with food.
