Rich, intensely sherried and bottled at natural cask strength, Edradour 12 Year Old Sherry Cask Strength Batch 8 is a superb showcase of one of Scotland's smallest traditional distilleries. Crafted in limited quantities, this Highland single malt delivers remarkable depth, texture and complexity while remaining unmistakably Edradour.
 
Distilled at Edradour Distillery on 1st January 2013, this expression matured exclusively in a carefully selected combination of first-fill and second-fill Oloroso sherry butts. For Batch 8, just ten casks were chosen and married before bottling on 7th April 2026 at a formidable 58% ABV, preserving every ounce of flavour with natural colour and without chill filtration.
 
The result is a luxurious Highland whisky overflowing with classic sherry-cask character. The nose offers generous aromas of raisins, dates, dark chocolate, Christmas cake and polished oak, while the palate unfolds with layers of dried figs, black cherries, rich cocoa, roasted nuts and warming spices. The full-bodied, velvety texture carries the whisky effortlessly into a long finish filled with lingering sweet spices, rich sherry, oak and dried fruit.
 
A splash of water reveals even greater complexity, opening vibrant notes of orange peel, honey and roasted almonds beneath the whisky's rich Oloroso influence. Batch 8 is a superb choice for lovers of powerful, naturally presented Highland single malts.
