The name “Mizunowa”—meaning “rings of water”—evokes the gentle ripples formed when life meets water, reflecting the sake’s philosophy of freshness, fluidity and elegance.

 

Crafted by Yakushin Brewery (est. 1877) in Yamaguchi Prefecture, this Junmai Ginjo is made using premium Yamada Nishiki rice polished to 50%, allowing for a clean, expressive and delicate profile.

 

Produced with a focus on minimal intervention, it highlights the natural character of rice and water, resulting in a sake that feels both authentic and effortlessly drinkable.

 

On the palate, Mizunowa is soft, light and smooth, with a refined texture and a gentle, lingering finish. Its subtle complexity and freshness make it incredibly versatile—perfect for both traditional Japanese cuisine and modern dining.
