Graham’s Blend No. 12 Ruby Port is a modern interpretation from one of the most respected names in the port trade. Established in 1820, W & J Graham’s has built a reputation for producing some of the world’s finest Ports, now stewarded by the Symington family, who continue to innovate while preserving tradition.
Blend No. 12 challenges conventional ideas of Ruby Port. Crafted primarily from Portugal’s noble Touriga Nacional grape, the fruit is harvested at night from high-altitude vineyards in the Douro Valley to preserve natural freshness and aromatic intensity.
Unlike traditional Ruby Ports, Blend No. 12 undergoes a slow cold fermentation, a rare technique designed to retain vibrant fruit aromas and freshness. Once the desired sugar level is reached, neutral grape spirit is added to stop fermentation, preserving the wine’s natural sweetness and lifting the alcohol to 19%.
The result is a fresh, light and aromatic ruby port with lively red berry notes and vibrant character. Designed specifically for mixing, it works beautifully in cocktails or as a simple serve over ice with tonic, making it an approachable gateway into the world of Port.
