Graham’s Blend No. 5 White Port represents a modern and innovative approach from one of the most respected houses in the Port trade. Created by the historic W & J Graham’s, established in 1820 and now owned by the Symington family, this unique expression was the first White Port specifically designed with bartenders and cocktails in mind.
Unlike traditional white ports, which are typically field blends, Blend No. 5 focuses primarily on two Portuguese grape varieties, Malvasia Fina and Moscatel Galego. These grapes bring freshness, aromatic intensity, and vibrant fruit character, creating a refined yet approachable style.
Produced from hand-harvested grapes in the Douro Valley, the wine undergoes a longer, cooler fermentation, resulting in a medium-dry style that is lighter, fresher, and more aromatic than classic White Ports.
On the palate, it shows bright citrus, floral, and orchard fruit notes with a crisp, refreshing finish. The balanced dryness makes it ideal for mixing, especially in the classic Port & Tonic, where its aromatic profile truly shines.
A stylish, contemporary fortified wine that brings new energy to the world of Port.
