Mohulo Premium Gin is made in India with a basmati rice base, and Mahua flower is the botanical that sets it apart from most gins. It is bottled at 42.8% ABV, a little stronger than the 37.5% to 40% found in many gins.
 
Juniper leads the character, as you’d expect from a gin, with citrus, floral notes and gentle spice in support. The nose is juniper, citrus and soft floral aromas. The palate is juniper-led, with delicate sweetness and gentle spice. The finish is dry and crisp, with a lingering botanical freshness.
 
The supplier suggests drinking it over ice with a citrus garnish or using it in a martini, where the botanicals have little to hide behind. If you usually drink London dry-style gins and want to try something different, ask in store, and we can suggest how to approach it.
