Park XO Cigar Blend is a fine champagne cognac made by Distillerie Tessendier & Fils. It blends eaux-de-vie from two crus, Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne. The eaux-de-vie were aged for 25 to 35 years in French oak in the Chai Paradis cellar of the Tessendier house.
 
The name explains the intention: it was created with cigar pairing in mind. The supplier puts depth, aromatic intensity and a long finish at the centre of its character, which are the qualities usually wanted from a cognac that sits alongside a cigar.
 
Drinking it neat in a tulip-shaped glass, which suits a mature cognac where the aromas are a large part of the interest.
