Bold, fragrant, and utterly indulgent, Soleria Fortified Torrontés NV is a unique dessert wine that reimagines Argentina’s most aromatic grape in a luxuriously fortified style.
In the glass, it glows golden amber with copper reflections. The nose is a heady, opulent bouquet of dried figs, toasted chestnut, beeswax, honeycomb, and zesty orange peel. On the palate, this rich nectar delivers buttery depth and layered flavours—golden raisins, star anise, kumquat, and syrup-drenched dates, finishing long, warm, and gloriously spiced.
Made from hand-harvested Torrontés grapes from Maipo and Santa Rosa, the wine undergoes gentle maceration and fortification with Torrontés brandy. Uniquely aged for 40 months under direct sunlight in seasoned Chardonnay barrels, it acquires its characteristic oxidative complexity and smooth elegance.
A beautiful alternative to Tawny Port, this is a wine to sip slowly, contemplate deeply, and enjoy with both sweet and savoury dishes.
Food Pairing:
Pair with salted caramel tart, hard cheeses like Manchego, baklava, or crème brûlée. Also excellent with spiced nuts or after dinner on its own.
