Sula Dindori Reserve Viognier 2025 is an aromatic and expressive white wine from Nashik in Maharashtra, produced by Sula Vineyards, widely recognised as India’s leading premium wine producer.
Founded in 1997 by Rajeev Samant and Kerry Damsky, Sula pioneered the cultivation of international grape varieties in India. Their dedication to innovation, sustainable vineyard practices, and quality winemaking has helped establish Nashik as the center of India’s modern wine industry.
The grapes for this wine are sourced from hillside vineyards in Dindori, one of Nashik’s most favourable sites for premium wine production. The vineyard’s free-draining gravel red soils rich in iron and calcium, combined with layers of red laterite and basalt, create ideal conditions for Viognier to develop intense aromatics and rich fruit character. A nearby lake moderates the local microclimate, helping ensure slow and even ripening.
The wine is fermented slowly in stainless steel tanks, preserving the purity and vibrancy of the Viognier grape. The result is a full-bodied white wine bursting with exotic fruit, floral aromatics, and a smooth, opulent texture, balanced by refreshing acidity.
