Introducing the third chapter in the highly acclaimed Torabhaig Legacy Series—Cnoc Na Mòine, a name meaning "hill of peat" in Gaelic. This bold and deeply expressive single malt from the Isle of Skye masterfully intertwines Torabhaig's distinctive heavily peated spirit with the depth and warmth of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Aged in a blend of Bourbon American oak and rich sherry-seasoned wood, this whisky embodies both the rugged maritime nature of Skye and the finesse of complex maturation.

A harmony of smoke and sherry, Cnoc Na Mòine is a standout in the Legacy Series and a perfect dram for the discerning peat lover looking for elegant, layered complexity.

Tasting Notes:

Nose:
Gentle peat smoke greets the nose, mingling with citrus zest and vibrant orchard fruits. Underlying hints of vanilla and freshly sawn oak complement faint trails of warm ash and earth.

Palate:
A velvety texture gives way to grilled barbecue smoke, balanced by black pepper spice, a touch of balsamic tang, and lush sherried sweetness. Notes of cedarwood and worn leather emerge, adding depth and maturity.

Finish:
Long and warming, the sherry casks come to the forefront with ripe dried fruits and mellow oak spice. A perfect interplay between rich sherry influence and the signature Torabhaig smoke.

Serving Suggestion:
Best enjoyed neat to appreciate the full depth of sherry integration. For a touch of indulgence, pair with a medium-bodied Cuban cigar or dark chocolate truffle.
