Produced at the historic Yoichi Distillery, Yoichi remains one of the few distilleries in the world to use traditional direct coal-fired pot stills, a labour-intensive process that imparts a robust, slightly smoky character unlike any other Japanese whisky. Combined with lightly peated malt and worm tub condensers, the result is a spirit that balances maritime freshness with rich fruit and subtle smoke.
 
The nose is bright and inviting, offering aromas of fresh lemon, ripe pear and white grapes, alongside delicate hints of coastal minerality.
